Craps is played on a table lined with felt with high rails around it so the dice can bounce off the walls. The amount of players that can play at the table depends on the size of the table. Some tables can hold up to around 20 players.
Craps is played by a person throwing a pair of dice. This person is called the shooter. The shooter has to place a Pass or Don’t Pass bet before they roll the dice.
The shooter’s first roll is called the Come Out roll. A roll that is 2, 3, or 12 is called craps. If the Come Out roll is either a 7 or 11 or a 2, 3, or 12, then the game is over. If you placed a Pass bet, you will win if the roll is a 7 or 11. If you placed a Don’t Pass bet, you will win if you roll a 2, 3, or 12.
If the game ends on a Come Out roll, the current shooter can continue throwing the dice or choose to pass the dice off to the next person. The person to the left of the shooter is next to roll the dice.
